If you thought The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+'s phsyical boxart looked great in the last printing, get ready to get blown away. According to Nicalis' official Twitter account, the rouge-lite, top-down shooter will be getting another physical run on Nintendo Switch with a whole new look:

In case you've forgotten what the original covers -- and the reversible art -- looks like, here is a refresher.

For those looking into the fine details, you notice that all carry the same theme and characters. The original Nintendo Switch printing has a more kid and shelf-friendly setting, the reversible cover takes an art-direct stance far more reflective of the themes in Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+. Finally, the second print cover serves as the climactic end of the trilogy of cases -- Isaac is seen defeating those around him in the first two covers in a teary-filled blaze of glory.

The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ was originally announced as a Nintendo Switch launch title in mid-January, sporting an impressive physical package with stickers, manual, and reversible cover -- as mentioned above. Isaac wasn't fated to stay a launch title, however. With very little explanation behind it, The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ was delayed until mid March -- a few weeks after the March 3rd launch of the Nintendo Switch.

While the game has been available since its launch on the eShop, it has been overwhelmingly clear that the game is on a limited run. It is far from uncommon to see price-gauging listings -- some eBay sales have went up to $79.00 -- nearly 200% the MSRP. The problem became so bad, that Nicalis founder went on the record publicly telling fans not to grab inflated-price games:

It isn't clear whether the re-printing will contain all of the accouterments of the original printing. While Tyrone has suggested that the stickers won't be available in the next printing, nothing has been said officially about the manual or the reversible cover -- DualShockers has reached out for comment.

The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ is currently available for PC and Nintendo Switch, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions coming Q2 2017. No news was given when the re-print will begin hitting store shelves.
