Those that have yet to experience The Binding of Isaac in its original form will be getting a second chance to do so this fall with The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, and luckily Wii U owners may not be missing out on the title after all.
Developer Nicalis posted a video giving a brief glimpse at Isaac squaring off against Mega Maw, a new boss that will be added to the upcoming remake of the title.
However, more interestingly is that if you look at the first frame of the video, you can quickly see the Wii U dashboard disappear right before the boss battle, leading to suspicions that the game may be coming to Wii U after all, despite previous claims that the game could not be released on the Wii U eShop due to its content and religious themes.
No official announcement from Nintendo has been made regarding a Wii U release for The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, but the video does seem to indicated we could be seeing a release of the title on Nintendo’s home console.
The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth will release for PS4, PS Vita, and PC on November 4th, 2014.
