The Book of Unwritten Tales Now Has a Demo and a Release Date (Hint: It's SOON)

Back in the summer I wrote about The Book of Unwritten Tales, a European comedic adventure game that was set to make its way across the ocean. The notion of mixing parody with point and click adventuring definitely made me raise an eyebrow, and since then I’ve been wondering when we’ll finally get news on it.

Well, looks like we finally have something substantial to share; developer KING Art has released a demo for Book of Unwritten Tales on their website, and it’ll apparently give you an impressive three hours of gameplay.

Additionally, we have a final launch date for the game: October 28th, which is just a couple short weeks away. I may be swamped right now with other games, but I’ll have to make some time to squeeze this one in; it has to potential to be a true diamond in the rough.

Allen is an utter whore of a gamer; he's completely open-minded to all games, be they AAA blockbusters or $5 casual children's games. His focus is on indie games specifically, valuing gameplay and ingenuity over sparkly visuals and ridiculous gimmicks. When he's not geeking out over the newest art game, he's out toning his sexy, sculpted shoulders while surfing epic 1.5ft waves, or having a good time with local, high-gravity microbrews.
