Peter Brinson and Kurosh ValaNejad’s striking indie game about the downfall of an Iranian prime minister has now hit Steam for the whopping price of ZERO dollars, which means you should get it ASAP. You play Dr. Mohammed Mossadegh’s cat as you do…something to trigger memories of his life.

It’s all pretty abstract stuff, but the art style is amazing, and it was nominated for a few awards at the Independent Games Festival at GDC as well, so you know it’s quality. It’s already downloaded on my computer; you should follow suit. Download The Cat and the Coup here.

Allen is an utter whore of a gamer; he's completely open-minded to all games, be they AAA blockbusters or $5 casual children's games. His focus is on indie games specifically, valuing gameplay and ingenuity over sparkly visuals and ridiculous gimmicks. When he's not geeking out over the newest art game, he's out toning his sexy, sculpted shoulders while surfing epic 1.5ft waves, or having a good time with local, high-gravity microbrews.
