Crytek announced today that The Climb will be receiving Oculus Touch support on December 6.

This update is free to all owners of The Climb, and also includes area based off the landscapes of Iceland which received the following description:

The wintry “North” location features snow-capped peaks, distant volcanoes, and a host of fresh challenges for players to get to grips with as they scale new heights, immerse themselves in the environment, or compete to set the best times in the world. In addition, the update introduces new player-customization options and a range of accessories designed specifically for the North setting.

The Oculus Touch will be available at launch for $199, with an optional upgrade that will enable room scale VR for $79. It also will release also release on December 6.

The Climb is an Oculus Rift exclusive.
