The Crew Delayed to December to Improve the Game in Response to Fan Feedback

Looks like racing fans will have to be content with Forza Horizon 2, Driveclub and Project CARS at least for a while, as Ubisoft just announced that The Crew has been delayed to December 2nd.

Luckily, it’s not a big delay, less than a month from the original date, and we’ll still get a chance to play on PS4 and Xbox One with a new closed beta in November.

The chance in release date has been decided to give the development studio more time to implement and tweak features in response to fan feedback from the previous phases of the beta, including better AI for the cops and better voice chat, which is definitely a good idea for a social game.

Looks like the roads of America will have to wait a little longer, but we’re plenty rubber to burn already, so I won’t have that much trouble finding some more patience in my heart.
