The Darkness II Gets Pushed Back to 2012

Originally slated for an October release, 2K Games today announced that The Darkness II will join the growing number of titles being pushed back, some a little and some a lot. The new release date given is February 7, 2012. There was no reason given for the delay, although they were quick to point out in the press release that they will have eight kiosks at the SanDiego Comic-Con where you’ll be able to get some hands-on time with the title. Let’s hope the delay is there for quality assurance and that the game launches without a hitch and is the sequel fans are hoping for. When we saw it earlier this year at PAX East it was looking mighty fine.
