The Destiny Beta's Multiplayer Modes Are Both Challenging And Fun

The Destiny Beta allows players to pick their class and explore the few different missions that lead up to the ability for interstellar travel. That isn’t where it ends though. There are multiplayer missions where you can tackle PvP and you can also work together to face a tough boss.

Crucibles are matches that you can start that have different types. In the beta, there’s the Control type, which is really the traditional domination style game mode. You go to one objective, capture it, and try to keep the enemy team from capturing it. Multiply this by three and you have Capture.

If you feel like working together with your team to get something pretty awesome done, then head to the Strike mission on Earth. There is another strike mission on the moon being teased by Bungie, and it isn’t clear if it’ll be made available at some point during the beta, however the Devils Lair strike mission has enough content to keep you coming back quite a few times with friends to conquer the waves of enemies and the boss.
