The Destroyer Class Brings Destruction and Ruin to the Seven Seas in Pirate MMO, Kartuga

on December 6, 2012 10:16 PM

It’s been a while since we reported on the browser-based pirate-MMO game Kartuga, but today InnoGames and Ticking Bomb Games have revealed details on the first of it’s pirate ship classes, The Destroyer.

Built for agression, The Destroyer class is made for speed, mobility, and causing massive damage, as you can see in the video below.

Ticking Bomb Games have also revealed details on progression: each of the three classes will have a skill tree that branches out in three directions, allowing players to tailor their ship to their liking. For the Destroyer, the three branches lead into Raider skills (for high mobility, hit and run abilities), Ravager skills (for long-ranged attacks), and Brawler skills (for strong defense and stronger close-ranged attacks). These abilities–combined with special equipment and other skills, really give players the ability to customize their play-style.

Kartuga is an action-MMO with RPG elements, based heavily on cooperative PvP, where players challenge each other in teams of four for swift fast-paced action. The Beta is slated to start early 2013, and you can pre-register on the Kartuga website.

Remember to check out the video, and check out some new screens and artwork while you’re at it. For more information, stay tuned to
