While Sony is skipping out on E3 2019, there definitely will not be a shortage of press conferences featuring game reveals to watch. Ubisoft, Microsoft, Square Enix, and Bethesda have already announced press conference times, and and another Kinda Funny Games Showcase and PC Gaming Show have been promised. Today, media publication UploadVR revealed that it will be entering the fray at E3 2019 with its own livestreamed show, simply dubbed "The E3 VR Showcase."

While The E3 VR Showcase is being organized by a website like the PC Gaming Show, UploadVR says it will be more similar in structure to Sony's recent State of Play presentation or a Nintendo Direct. The E3 VR Showcase will be pre-recorded and packed with gameplay announcements as well as "a behind-the-scenes look at some of the most popular VR developers around." The announcement video for this showcase also hints that some Kinda Funny members may be making an appearance.

For this interested in watching the show, it will be taking place on UploadVR's YouTube channel at 12pm EST on June 10. The site has also promised to directly upload the video to their channel immediately after the event ends in case you can't watch it live.

Fans of VR games across Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and PlayStation VR are likely happy that VR gaming is finally getting its own show at E3 this year, and that sentiment is reflected by UploadVR Senior Editor Jamie Feltham. "E3 is one of the most exciting times of the year for gamers, but we don't feel VR has gotten its due at past shows. The E3 VR Showcase is a much-needed chance to show everyone the amazing work VR developers are carrying out across the globe and give those studios some vital exposure," he stated.
