The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood Chapter is close to its official release for Xbox One and PS4 players, and here's what we know about the update's release time.
Developed by ZeniMax Online Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks, The Elder Scrolls is a massively multiplayer RPG (MMORPG) title. The game is available for Windows, Mac, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
Players loved the Flames of Ambition chapter that was released back in March 2021. However, everyone is now looking forward to the release of the Blackwood chapter.

The Elder Scrolls Online - Blackwood Chapter
According to Bethesda, the upcoming ESO Blackwood update would continue the Gates of Oblivion adventure. Interestingly, you will get access to 30 hours of new story content and get a chance to explore colorful parts of Tamriel.
Besides that, here's all the new content that will arrive with the new chapter:
- The new Blackwood zone
- A massive storyline that is a part of the Gates of Oblivion adventure
- The new Companions system
- A new 12-player Trial: Rockgrove
- New Oblivion Portals world events
- New delves, public dungeons, world bosses, and stand-alone quests
- Updates and quality-of-life (QOL) improvements
ESO Blackwood Release Date and Time (PS4 and Xbox One)
The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood Chapter is scheduled to release for Xbox One and PS4 on Tuesday, June 8th, 2021.
The new Chapter already arrived for PC/Mac and Stadia players on June 1st, 2021. However, Xbox and PlayStation players had to wait one more week to get the new chapter.
As of timing, the studio didn't reveal an official ESO Blackwood release time for consoles. However, the Blackwood Chapter upgrade came out for PC approximately around 12 PM EST. So, it's safe to assume that the release time would be the same for consoles.
