Bethesda has revealed plans to provide an early access period for The Elder Scrolls Online's Morrowind DLC. However, it will only be for PC and Mac players.

Those who own The Elder Scrolls Online for PC or Mac and have the digital Morrowind Upgrade or Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade of Morrowind will have access to the DLC on May 22. In case you were wondering, the expansion is not scheduled to release for everyone else until June 6.

Bethesda has also confirmed that there is no progression limits or progression resets on the early access. That means the entirety of the expansion will be made available and any progress that you make in the game will be retained once the expansion officially releases. For all purposes, this is very much a two week "Early Access," but Bethesda also points out that the period is intended to "allow for final gameplay tuning and polishing before the game launches."

If you pre-ordered one of the physical collector's editions of Morrowind and you were hoping to get in on the early access, there's still hope for you. Bethesda has established a customer support page just for your plight.

Recently, ZeniMax Online and Bethesda released a new Naryu's guide video featuring the assassin's perspective on the Dark Elf Great Houses of Vvardenfell.
