Bethesda has announced that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition has gone gold ahead of its October 28th launch date, as well as the game's system requirements.

With the Skyrim Special Edition going gold, it marks the first release since Bethesda Game Studios expanded to an international team with its addition of a Montreal Studio, who was a major contributor to this particular project.

In addition to the going gold announcement, Bethesda also released the system requirements, as well as the game's file size.
