The Binding of Isaac Creator’s New Game The End Is Nigh Shows Gameplay During Livestream

Nicalis release new details for The Binding of Isaac creator Edmund McMillen and Tyler Glaiel’s upcoming game The End Is Nigh, coming in Q3 of 2017 to PC-via Steam, with a Switch and PlayStation 4 version on the way.

Recently revealed, The End Is Nigh is an adventure-platformer where players will assume the role of Ash, a little black glob that is trying to make friends out of the body parts he finds scattered through a post-apocalyptic world. Ash will need to be navigated through deadly mutant creatures as he tries to accomplish his goal.

Additionally, players can collect “tumors” and “hidden video-game cartridges” that unlock fully playable mini-games across the more than 600 levels within 12-plus explorable chapters.

The game aired with Nicalis’ line-up of games talked about Sunday on the Twitch channel. However, one level segment was cut short due technical difficulties and time.
