The Evil Within Goes First-Person in New Gameplay Trailer for Final DLC Add-On, The Executioner
With its final story add-on coming in just one week, The Evil Within‘s brutal and horrifying story is coming to a close (for now), and in a new trailer released this week, seems to be bringing its particular brand of terror into some new territory and a whole new perspective.
A new trailer was released through Bethesda Softwork’s official YouTube channel showcasing gameplay from The Evil Within‘s third, and final, DLC story add-on titled The Executioner, allowing players the chance to play as the horrifying Boxman and, in an unusual twist, will also provide first-person gameplay deviating from the over-the-shoulder third-person perspective of the original game and previous DLC.
The Executioner will be included as part of The Evil Within‘s Season Pass for $19.99, or will be available for $4.99 on its own for all platforms.
The Evil Within is available for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, with the game’s third and final DLC add-on, The Executioner, to release on May 26th, 2015 – in the meantime, you can check out the new gameplay trailer for the add-on below:
