Last fall, The Evil Within met a mixed response from critics and gamers, though the game didn’t slouch in the scares department – luckily if you were looking for more, the game’s first piece of DLC will be arriving in just a few weeks.

Publisher Bethesda Softworks revealed through a new trailer that The Evil Within: The Assignment, the first piece of story-centric DLC content coming to the Tango Gameworks title, will be releasing on March 10th, 2015 across all platforms. Focusing on Agent Kidman, a side character from the original title, it seems the story will hone in on Kidman’s search for the mysterious Leslie, and finding him before someone (or something) can get to him first.

The Assignment is the first of a two-part DLC story for The Evil Within, with the next piece, titled The Consequence, currently targeting release later in Spring 2015.

The Evil Within: The Assignment will release for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on March 10th, 2015 – the DLC content is available to purchase either individually ($9.99) or as part of the game’s Season Pass ($19.99) – you can check out the full trailer for the DLC campaign below:
