The EVO Championship Series is Heading to Japan

This past weekend the world’s largest fighting game tournament was held, once again, in Las Vegas.

Of the many announcements to come out of the event, which has grown steadily year after year, one of the big ones was the reveal of EVO Japan. Details are scarce at the moment, but more will be revealed at this year’s Tokyo Game Show, currently scheduled to take place in September:

Since most fighting games are created in Japan and the Japanese arcades have some shockingly high skill ceilings, this crossover is bound to yield some jaw dropping game-play and bring out some of the world’s very best players.
