The Final Station DLC The Only Traitor Launches on April 19th; New Trailer Released

Today, publisher tinyBuild Games and developer Do My Best announced that their post-apocalyptic simulation/shooter/exploration game, The Final Station, is getting its first bit of DLC, titled The Only Traitor, on April 19th.

For those that don’t know, The Final Station launched last year on PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox One, and PS4. In my personal opinion, it is the bonafide hidden gem of 2016, and one of my favorites of the year.

The following story overview of The Only Traitor is provided:

While the train is heading to The Final Station, you are going on a road trip through the dying world, with the ultimate goal of finding the last remaining shelter. You’ll discover new locations, revisit familiar places, encounter new dangerous enemies, and find more clues about the mystery of Visitations.

In the DLC you will fight new and old enemies and explore previously unexplored territories starting in the western deserts, as well as revisit some familiar places from the main storyline.

Different than the main game is the option to choose your companion. Each survivor now has personal traits, abilities (such as crafting or medic), and stories to tell. You can only have one companion at a time in your car, so you will have to choose wisely who you want to travel with.

According to tinyBuild and Do My Best, in the DLC you will get answers to some unresolved questions and learn personal stories about the characters you met in the main game.

The Only Traitor is set to launch on April 19th on PC, Mac, and Linux. It’s currently unclear if it will make its way to PS4 and Xbox One.

Below, you can check out the newly released trailer as well as a batch of screenshots of the DLC:
