The Future of Dragon Age DLC Looks Good

Well, there you have it, folks. If you had any worries about future content for BioWare’s upcoming game Dragon Age: Origins, worry no more.

Because BioWare loves their fans so much, and because they want to make sure you continue playing Dragon Age: Origins for the next two years of your life, they have decided to stretch the DLC for the sleek looking RPG for two years. According to executive producer Mark Darrah, the DLC will be everything from small item packs, newly added quests that will span longer than an hour, and, of course, full-fledged expansion packs.

Maybe the lot of you are doubting this because, as seen with Mass Effect, BioWare kind of sodomized us with delivering any goods there. And there was a lot to do in the never ending cosmos in that game. But a totally different game means a totally different outlook. I won’t doubt what these guys have in store for Dragon Age, but, I’ll twiddle my thumbs and wait for some delivery before I cater to the emotion of excitement.

Just an FYI, two years is a hell a lot of support for a console game.
