Norman Reedus Joins List of Presenters for The Game Awards 2019

Norman Reedus has been confirmed to be one of the presenters to take to the stage during The Game Awards 2019.

The Game Awards streams live later today, an event to celebrate various categories across the video games industry. November saw the nominees revealed, But after voting opened, there was noticeable controversy surrounding the inclusion of Death Stranding, mainly due to the host, Geoff Keighley’s friendship with Kojima Production’s Hideo Kojima.

Things seem to have settled down on that front, and as we grow only hours away from the live-streamed awards ceremony, Geoff Keighley has been announcing presenters that will take to the stage this year. These presenters will be introducing individual awards and handing them over to the winners.

These appearances have so far been revealed through Twitter, and so far five presenters have been announced. The latest is Norman Reedus. Here’s a list of all of the presenters that have officially been confirmed to be taking to the stage so far.

Reggie Fils-Aime, the former president of Nintendo of America.

Ikumi Nakamura, won the internet when she revealed Ghostwire: Tokyo at Bethesda’s E3 2019 briefing.

Jonathan Nolan, co-creator of Westworld.

Stephen Curry, NBA professional for the Golden State Warriors

Norman Reedus, actor and protagonist from the highly-anticipated Death Stranding.

In addition to that, we’ve also seen that The Game Awards will be featuring live music performances from Green Day and CHVRCHES. There are also set to be announcements taking place, with Riot Games’ new publishing firm Riot Forge announcing a new game. WolfEye Studios, founded by veteran Arkane Developers, are to announce their new game. Ghost of Tsushima is to get a full trailer which has been confirmed to feature new gameplay footage.

Geoff Keighley also announced The Game Festival which will be taking place alongside The Game Awards, allowing players to jump on Steam and get trying out a bunch of free demos. These demos will be playable from 10am PT on December 12 and 10am PT on December 14. Curious about what they are?
