Even if you haven't played Dead Cells, you may have heard of it for all the wrong reasons lately, but that hasn't hindered developers Motion Twin. With the help of author Benoît Reinier, they have lovingly put together an artbook filled with exclusive information, anecdotes and illustrations for fans of the roguelike genre game.

The Heart of Dead Cells offers a mix of art and book, so a little something for people who enjoy some visuals with their words. In this artbook, the reader will get to experience exclusively behind the scenes information, the universe that surrounds Dead Cells, its story, gameplay and, exclusive interviews.

The author, Benoit Reinier ventured to Motion Twin's office to interview staff at the studio, and to retrieve anecdotes and unpublished information to fill the leaves of his 200 page book, so you can be guaranteed that it will be a must-have for fans of the game and maybe also those that are curious about the game and have yet to play it.

Dead Cells left Early Access on PC, Mac, and Linux at the start of August, and with that developer, Motion Twin shared an animated trailer in anticipation of its release on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.

The Heart of Dead Cells Artbook, which is looking at a February 2019 release, will be available as a classic edition or collector edition with original art drawn by Gwenael Massé whose an artist at Motion Twin.
