The King of Fighters 2000 Trophies Appear on Exophase, Suggesting Imminent PS4 Release

It is known that SNK’s The King of Fighters 2000 would be one of the PlayStation 2 games coming to PlayStation 4 — the news was announced by Shuhei Yoshida with the first batch of PS2 re-releases nearly four months ago. However, since the announcement, there has been no news of when players can expect the release — until today.

According to trophy data gathering site Exophase, PS4 trophies for The King of Fighters 2000 have surfaced. The thirteen trophies associated with the game has one gold, two silver, and ten bronze trophies. And while there is no official announcement from Sony regarding release date, Exhophase has been a consistently good indicator of upcoming titles. Check out the full trophy list below:


Gold:

  • Less Than Zero: Unlock Krizalid for use as a Striker.

Silver:

  • Multiples of Zero: Clear Arcade mode
  • Your Own Personal Apocalypse: Unlock Orochi for use as a Striker.

Bronze:

  • Reinforcements Have Arrived: Unlock Heidern for use as a Striker.
  • Independence Day: Unlock the original Team USA for use as Strikers.
  • The Men Behind the Men: Unlock Wolfgang Krauser and Mr. Big for use as Strikers.
  • Sibling Rivalry: Knock out Kula and Another K’.
  • Reunion Tour: Clear Arcade Mode with Kyo, Shingo, Benimaru, and Daimon.
  • Double Date Night: “Well, I was thinking we could all get together and enter a bare-knuckle fighting tournament. Or there’s always bowling.”
  • Match Interference: Knock out an opponent with a Striker.
  • Metal Slug 2000: Clear Arcade Mode with Ralf, Clark, Leona, and Fio.
  • Blood and Screaming: Unlock Orochi for use as a Striker.
  • Irreplaceable: Defeat Zero and Kula
