The King of Fighters XIII Delayed a Month, Didn't See that Coming

In other delay news, the long awaited console debut of the King of Fighters XIII has been postponed for a little less than a month. Instead of releasing on October 25th as was originally planned, the game will now hit HD consoles on November 22nd. No reasoning is readily apparent for this delay, but the new release date is exactly one week after the release of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

This timing seems largely disadvantageous to the KOF title. Fighting fans who can only afford to pick up one of the games will be forced to choose between them. The KOF series might be quite a bit older than the MVC series but I don’t think it’s been nearly as successful. Perhaps KOFXIII will change things.
