Known most recently for No Man's Sky over the past few years, Hello Games has already taken us out into the reaches of the universe, and now their new title, The Last Campfire, appears to be taking on a bit of a smaller scale but with no less of a sense of imagination.

During The Game Awards 2018, Hello Games revealed a new title that the studio has been working on called The Last Campfire, which appears to be a short narrative-driven experience with an incredible sense of beauty and stunning art direction.

No release date was specified just yet for the title other than that it will be coming in 2019, but based on the reveal trailer from The Game Awards, it seems like Hello Games is taking on a new approach in their next title that I'll certainly be looking forward to. According to Hello Games, the title will be available on PC, but "other platforms" are set to be announced.

According to Hello Games, "The Last Campfire is an adventure, a story of a lost ember trapped in a puzzling place, searching for meaning and a way home," and described as a "Hello Games Short."

The Last Campfire hasn't been confirmed for a specific date just yet, but you can check out the full reveal trailer below from The Game Awards:
