With PlayStation Experience's keynote presentation coming with its many trailers, there certainly is potential for romance, but I am fairly positive that this won't be topped. Today Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan released a new commercial for The Last Guardian, and it's probably the best of the series.

A husband comes back home from work, and his wife asks him "what did you buy?" When he responds that it's a PS4, she asks "didn't you move on from games?" to which he mentions that he has been waiting for this specific game for seven years.

Then, he pulls out a copy of Ico from the home theater where he has his old PS2. He aks his wife "Hey, do you remember our wedding wows?" following up by reciting "Kono hito no te o hanasanai." His wife joining to complete the sentence: "Boku no tamashii-goto hanashite shimau ki ga surukara."

Of course, that's the beloved line: "I will not let go of this person's hand, because it would feel like separating from my soul," which is on the back of Ico's Japaese cover.

And that's when I go "awww!"

You can watch it at the bottom of the post. This is the fourth chapter of a series of commercials, and you can watch the first the second and the third. They’re definitely nice and a bit nostalgic, even if this one tops them all.
