Naughty Dog Concept Artist Illustrated Beautiful Character Moments from The Last of Us 2

We all know Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us 2 as the violent successor to the series’ hit debut. However, concept artist Alexandria Neonakis shows the beauty of the game’s poignant character moments in her artwork.

The narrative from The Last of Us 2 was a controversial talking point amongst the gaming community last year, reflecting the developer’s bold decision to create raw, heart-wrenching material.

The game was not to everyone’s taste, but many agreed that the characters were beautifully developed, and Neonakis’ illustrations reflect those qualities.

The Last of Us 2 Character Art

Alexandria Neonakis

The concept art produced by Neonakis for The Last of Us 2 is all the more potent when you know the story behind the characters.

The artist created various soft sketches for Ellie, Dina, Owen, Abby, and more, as well as separate pieces which show the characters’ interactions with each other.

Not only has the artist perfectly captured each character’s mannerisms, but most of Neonakis’ illustrations create lasting, intimate moments between these characters.
