Another side to The Last of Us Part 2

YouTuber

" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Speclizer has stitched together a video where they have explored previously hidden details that are made possible by accessing and breaking through The Last of Us 2's in-game camera.

Some of what they find is pretty incredible from viewing Joel's gory death scene from a birdseye point, watching how the blood splatter animation changes, to teeth actually being knocked out when hit and a close inspection of Ellie's fingers showing actual fingerprints.

Tommy's Eye and the PS Vita Screen

In another area of the video, Ellie and Dina get a visit from Tommy and using the Out of Bounds trick, Speclizer pops out of the current scene and is able to get a close look at his eye after getting shot.

A more humourous one is when Ellie sneaks behind a WLF solder, cuts her throat and, again, using the exploit, is able to see that the PS Vita screen says "You're Dead". It certainly was for her.

Other Unseen The Last of Us 2 Details

Speclizer also gets up close to reveal a group of hidden tadpoles in a tub of water which certainly would never be found by players making their way through the game normally.

In another clip, we see that Ellie does actually place items inside her backpack and picks up only the ammo she needs for her gun. We see just how much detail Naughty Dog puts into the Tommy and Ellie scene where they are shooting infected on a hillside.

Speclizer is able to trace the actual bullet from the rifle as it travels towards the infected, showcasing that the bullet doesn't just disappear into thin air.

You can watch the entire video below and discover all the hidden and unseen mechanics for yourself.
