The Last of Us Art Director, Nate Wells, Leaves Naughty Dog and Joins Giant Sparrow

Naughty Dog has had a rash of employee departures in the last few months, both amicably and under duress, and reports have come through that another member of the studio has left to pursue other projects.

Nate Wells, Art Director on Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us, announced via Twitter that he has left the studio and joined on the team at Giant Sparrow, makers of 2012’s The Unfinished Swan. Wells detailed that he has now been involved with the studio for a few weeks, with his employment at Giant Sparrow having officially started on April 3rd as Art Director.

Before his involvement with Naughty Dog and Giant Sparrow, Wells previously worked at Irrational Games on BioShock Infinite.

Giant Sparrow is currently working on an unannounced new game – stay tuned for more details.
