The Last of Us Part 2 Fan Art Portrays the Consequences of Abby’s Choices
A talented artist has sketched a stunning piece of artwork that showcases Abby from The Last of Us Part 2 and the characters who have died due to her actions.
The Last of Us Part 2 has many noteworthy characters that come with their own past and personality. This is probably where Naughty Dog does their best work. The studio makes us feel like we witnessing real people and that we are very much apart of their existence. One character that certainly made herself known from The Last of Us Part 2 is Abby Anderson, the controversial and revenge-ridden daughter of Gerald “Jerry” Anderson who was the lead doctor among the Fireflies who was trying to find a cure for the infection in The Last of Us. In this latest artwork, we see a beautiful drawing of Abby and behind her, the characters that died because of her decisions.
David, who also goes by the name of Kopfstoff on Twitter, is a full-time Concept Artist working in character design at Deck 13 Interactive. If you’re a The Last of Us fan, you probably have already seen quite a bit of his work floating around on social media or at the very least being retweeted by Naughty Dog’s Vice President, Neil Druckmann. Of course, we also try and showcase his work as much as possible as not only is David an incredible artist, he’s also a really lovely person who we have a lot of time for here.
This time, however, David takes on the task of sketching Abby and other characters from The Last of Us Part 2 who have died due to Abby’s actions or have been influenced by her decisions – including her younger, innocent self after witnessing the death of her father. Everyone that’s included in David’s drawing has been tragically affected, directly or indirectly, by a choice that Abby has made at some point in the game and it’s pretty heartbreaking. Pour one out for the good doggo, Alice, who is also included in the drawing.
Check out David’s incredible artwork below and see if you can make the connection between Abby’s actions and the cause of some of the character’s deaths. Also, while you are here, make sure to head over to David’s ArtStation where he posts some of his jaw-dropping art pieces.

As you have probably already seen, earlier this year it was announced that a TV series based on The Last of Us was in the works at HBO with writers Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin jumping on board the project. With very little news to go on since, the showrunner and writer for the upcoming show, Craig Mazin, has given a very small teaser over on Twitter telling excited fans that there will be “modest news” coming “soon enough.”
