Let me start this off by saying that no, you won't find the leaks here. However, if you're wondering what I'm talking about, over the weekend some major leaks for Naughty Dog's The Last of Us Part 2 have found their way online, and yes, they're legit.

If you're not familiar with what's going on surrounding the release of The Last of Us Part 2, let me just nutshell it. The game was delayed a few times previously with the new release date slated for May 2020. However, since the coronavirus has impacted a lot of the games industry, causing developers to attempt to work on their projects from home, the game was indefinitely delayed. While the delay announcement a few weeks ago saw gameplay footage leaked, which we did report on because it wasn't a spoiler, the new leak that has recently surfaced is a lot more severe in terms of content.

The footage reveals big plot points and so if you're trying to avoid the leaks, it's best to probably get some keywords muted on social media accounts and avoid looking for anything related to the game outside of trusted outlets. (Like us ) Of course, it's also worth mentioning, don't read our comment sections on this post, both here or on social media as people may be actively going out of their way to spoil the game.

While Sony appears to have nuked the offending channel that leaked the footage (Thanks, PushSquare), I can confirm that mirrors have been made, clips are being posted to Twitter and other social media channels, and people are discussing the leak publicly. So if you want the story to remain fresh for when The Last of Us Part 2 does eventually launch as a PS4 exclusive, you'll want to be incredibly vigilant.

Naughty Dog hasn't commented on the leak as of yet, but I'm sure we'll see some sort of statement from Naughty Dog or Sony at some point today or this week.

As always, with leaks, be respectful. While you may wish to actively go out and watch the footage, others don't. So don't go sharing it with people or discussing it through public channels. Basically, don't be a dick.
