The Last of Us Part II New Screenshots Show Off Environments, Clickers, and Ellie
Get a look at these gorgeous new pictures of The Last of Us Part II captured on a PS4 Pro.
Following the release date reveal of The Last of Us II earlier this week, Sony and Naughty Dog have today unleashed a slew of new images from the game and they all look pretty stunning.
Over ten new images in total have been revealed and, as you would expect, most of them feature the game’s protagonist, Ellie. We see her traversing a variety of different areas that will be featured in The Last of Us Part II which include mountainous, snowy regions, and lush forests. Some of the pictures also seem to be taken from cutscenes while others have been captured from live gameplay. All of the images were also captured via a PS4 Pro console, as well.
We also get to see some images of Clickers in these new images, which we haven’t seen much of just yet. Per usual, the zombie-like enemies look incredibly creepy and I’m sure will instill fear in you when you come across them.
All in all, what’s being shown here looks relatively extraordinary. While I’m still not sold on the story that The Last of Us Part II looks like it’ll be telling, the game itself looks remarkable. The animations and visuals shown both in these new screenshots and in the game’s most recent trailer are stunning. Hopefully, the full game will look just like this when it’s actually running on our own PS4 consoles.
You can get a look at all of the new images from the game attached in the gallery down below if you’d like. The Last of Us Part II is set to release early next year on February 21, 2020, exclusively for the PS4.
