As you may have gathered by now, we here at DualShockers love all things The Last of Us Part 2. That love for the highly controversial Naughty Dog game also spreads out into brilliant cosplays and exquisite fan art pieces. We enjoy nothing more than to offer readers a look at the characters they love (or maybe even hate?) after the credits roll on a game they've been immersed in for hours. Although there's always been a fan base for Ellie, Abby has begun to get her very own groupies who can't get enough of the playable false protagonist of The Last of Us Part 2. Check out this amazing Abby cosplay that looks more like an image from the game instead.

Based in Florance, Italy, Alessia Grassi is a Detail Photographer and also a cosplayer. Taking her obvious love for The Last of Us Part 2, Grassi slips into the shoes of Abby in such a remarkable way that you would have assumed it was from the game itself. Pinning down an infected Runner, who look more like people due to being in the early stages of infection, we see Grassi as Abby overpowering one of these dangerous and agile threats.

Donning Abby's trademark ponytail and well-toned arms, Grassi has done an unbelievable job at taking on the complex persona of the revenge-ridden Abigail Anderson. What makes this cosplay even more unique is the use of color and how the background looks like landscapes found within the game, not to mention how real those blisters look on the Runner's head. Also included in Grassi's Reddit profile is a reenactment of the scene where Abby was caught by the Seraphites, colloquially called Scars, and about to have her stomach ripped open.

I'm amazed at the level of work that has gone into this cosplay, so much so that it's definitely one of my favorites so far. Although in saying that, nothing can beat seeing Jocelyn Mettler, the face model for Abby, as she cosplayed as the character last year though.

The Last of Us Part 2 is available now exclusively on PS4. The game was one of DualShockers’ favorites of 2020; make sure to check out the official DualShockers (generally spoiler-free) review.
