I'm not sure about you, but I'm still constantly thinking about The Last of Us Part 2. Even though time has passed since its release in June, I still find myself daydreaming about Part 2's storyline and all that drama! Naturally, I won't go into too much detail here on what I loved for those who haven't played it yet but I will say, you're in for one rollercoaster of a ride. One of The Last of Us Part 2's most noteworthy characters - despite controversy - is Abby Anderson, the games playable false protagonist and voiced by Laura Bailey. She has certainly become a talking point amongst gamers and by the look of it, artists too as we check out this incredible fan art mural of Abby in all her glory.

David Müller, who also goes by the name of Kopfstoff on Twitter, is a fulltime Concept Artist working in Character design at Deck 13 Interactive. If you're a The Last of Us fan, you probably have already seen quite a bit of his work floating around social media or at the very least being retweeted by Naughty Dog Vice President, Neil Druckmann. This time, however, David takes on the task of painting Abby and the results are just amazing. His mural piece took him five and a half hours in two seperate sessions after finally finding the perfect spot over the course of two days trying to find somewhere to let his creative talents loose.

After asking for permission from the person who owned the container, David set to work on his Abby masterpiece by purchasing brushes, cans, and paint. The technique he used for this particular mural is called the doodle grid, just in case any inspiring artists fancy trying their hand at doing the same (with permission, of course). After hours of painting, David finally finished his incredible Abby mural, and regardless of how you feel about the character (she rocks in my book), you can't take anything away from David's amazing skill and dedication here. Also, huge brownie points for being a Last of Us fan too.

For those of you who are wondering where this is located, this particular spot is Schlachthof in Wiesbaden, Germany. As you can see from the pictures, right beside Abby's mural there's an outside gym that is a highly appropriate spot for this weight lifting fanatic. David stated that recently he learned that the container where Abby is painted on is completely filled with nothing but gym equipment and weights. I am very confident that Abby would give this place the thumbs up.

Make sure to check out David's other works of art over on his Artstation as they really are brilliant. So much so that he has become one of my favorite artists due to the level of skill and passion he has in his work. You can also give him a follow on Twitter where he is pretty active.

If you are a Dina fan, you’ll be pleased to hear that her voice actor Shannon Woodward has taken to Twitch to stream some games. Shannon has posted a schedule of the times that you can catch her on the gaming platform over on her Twitter page so why not head over to her Twitch channel now and give her a follow? You can follow Shannon over on her Twitter and Instagram where she will talk more about her up and coming games so stay tuned! You can also see what Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus has been up to in his playthrough of the game as he picks up Ellie’s guitar to bash the chords to his 1997 song ‘Dammit’.

The Last of Us Part 2 is available now exclusively on PS4 (and soon to be PS5). The game was one of DualShockers’ favorites of 2020; make sure to check out the official DualShockers (generally spoiler-free) review. Also, feel free to grab the game physically on Amazon to help support the site.
