As we approach the final few days until The Last of Us Part 2's release this Friday, the excitement for the long-awaited sequel is really starting to heat up. Many gamers, DualShockers staff included, have started to download the game as Sony finally allowed players to digitally begin the first stage of their gaming journey last week. As we also prepare ourselves to slip into the shoes of Ellie as she begins her vengeful voyage, cosplayer molzenna - quite literally - embodies the fierce protagonist in this fantastic looking dress-up.

Molzenna, who is an author and cosplayer from Russia, showcases her apparent love for all things The Last of Us Part 2 as she takes on the complex persona of Ellie. But taking on a character, especially one that's as iconic as Ellie, isn't just about putting on some clothes and doing your hair as Molza shows us so wonderfully. It is about getting the right body poses, facial expressions, and backdrop that can turn a normal cosplay adventure into something spectacular. In some of Molza's pictures taken by Russian cosplay photographer Kmitenkova, we see Molza as Ellie walking through the woods, taking on an enemy, and even getting into a bit of trouble as she gets pinned to the ground. All of these wonderful shots could be mistaken for some of the footage we have seen so far from the trailers of The Last of Us Part 2.

You can check some of Molza's Ellie cosplaying adventures in the pictures below or for more images of Ellie and other characters, take a peek over at her Instagram or DeviantArt site.
