Thanks to a new leak via 4Chan and Neogaf, new details have come out about a potential State of Play stream arriving on November 1, which will include a release date announcement for The Last of Us Part II.

The leak mentions the latest State of Play will be longer than the previous two and will feature a Death Stranding launch trailer, Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, and The Last of Us Part II. As for Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima, that won't be making an appearance this time. The rumors suggest Sucker Punch's latest title will make an appearance at an event called PlayStation Meeting 2020, which will highlight PlayStation's future.

"It seems that the development of the game is proceeding in a more than favorable manner within SP Studios," says the 4Chan post. "It has also encountered considerable delays at the same time, mainly due to greater work on the technical side of the software for textures and framerates, to favor in particular the technical upgrade that will be given by the new hardware features of PS5."

The last State of Play video PlayStation released back in May featured new info on MediEvil and Square-Enix showed off new footage of the Final Fantasy VII Remake. When it comes to an official announcement on the next State of Play, PlayStation probably won't announce anything until the week of the stream. With PlayStation selling over 100 million PlayStation 4's, it'll be interesting to see what PlayStation does next.

While these rumors are exciting since we haven't gotten any new footage of The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima in awhile, it's important to note these are only rumors and to take them with a grain of salt. As more details get revealed about both games, we'll be sure to let you know.
