The Last of US PS4 Better Shadows at 30 FPS Explained; Corrinne Yu Inspired to Create Even Greater Games
Apparently The Last of Us Remastered on PS4 will come with improved shadows when locked at 30 FPS, implemented with a day one patch, and Naughty Dog star coder Corrinne Yu explained the reason for that choice on Twitter.
We got the milliseconds down and found we had room to add features so we give everyone best of both worlds.
In addition to that, a fan asked her how does it feel “to be part of the greatest game ever created,” and Yu answered:
I have an inspired desire to create a game greater than this game? : )
Yu was also asked if we can expect a 30 FPS lock mode on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and her response was quite promising:
Only fair thing I know for now is I learn how to code graphics better and better on the PS4 hardware with each game I ship. : )
Yu then tweeted something that brought a smile to my face. Especially in the current climate:
