The Last of Us Remastered has been having a few issues during the first days of its lifetime, especially related to matchmaking. Another patch numbered 1.01.007  has just been released, with the intention to solve the issue as mentioned by co-founder Christophe Balestra:

We just pushed live update 1.01.007 for The Last of Us PS4. It should improve matchmaking times especially with parties.

Balestra also mentioned that the chat is being worked on as well, but it will require a separate patch.

On the other hand, Game Director Neil Druckmann revealed a few details about the alternate new ending that was showcased only for the audience of the One Night Live, in part to correct some erroneous reporting.

To clarify:
1) New epilogue was written for #OneNightLive
2) It takes place a few WEEKS after the game.
3) He sings Future Days by @PearlJam

Can’t say Joel doesn’t have good taste with music. Hopefully one day we’ll be able to see the scene for ourselves, one way or another.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
