A new trailer from Square Enix shows off cinematic and gameplay from the upcoming remaster of The Last Remnant on PlayStation 4.

The Last Remnant originally released on Xbox 360 in late 2008, coming to Windows PCs spring of 2009. A PlayStation 3 version was planned but never released, most likely due to the poor sales of the game on Xbox 360 and PC. It was removed from Steam in September of this year, shortly before the remaster was announced by Square Enix for a December release.

Trailers have shown the comparison of the remaster to the original Xbox 360 version, which was criticized for technical issues and less-than-stellar high definition textures. Gameplay video of The Last Remnant in-action has also been released, letting you see how it plays on the PlayStation 4.

THE LAST REMNANT captured the hearts and minds of gamers with its enthralling story, countless characters and intricate battle system. The remastered version with its beautiful graphics and enhanced game engine is available worldwide December 6th on PlayStation®4!
