The Last Story Just Might See an American Release Yet

By Kenneth Richardson

April 6, 2011

Nintendo was fairly clear when they said that they had no plans of releasing Mistwalker’s latest RPG epic The Last Story in the United States. However, it has recently been uncovered that Nintendo of America did in fact register a domain name for “The Last Story” early last year.

While this does conflict with their “no plans” claim, it also gives potential fans a small glimmer of hope. It does seem fairly odd that the registration took place early last year; they could have certainly released a localized version by now. That being said, it only recently came out in Japan. I suppose it depends on how positive you want to be about it all. The Last Story was released in Japan on January 27th, 2011, exclusively for the Nintendo Wii.
