10 Cassandra De Rolo
The head of the Chamber of Whitestone makes her introduction in the second chapter, where she was taken into slavery by Briarwoods. Cassandra was then leading a group out of Whitestone Castle to dethrone Delilah Briarwood. Having killed her enemy in revenge, Cassandra demonstrated where her true loyalties belong to.
Cassandra wields a sword and her mother's ornamental armor, with her immense reflexes and combat prowess making her a good companion. Despite her lack of magical powers compared to Delilah, Keyleth, or Pike, Cassandra has mastery over close combat, as she is also an exceptional speaker who touches her comrades' hearts with sharp words.
9 Sylas Briarwood
The vampire co-ruler had the aim to make Whitestone the greatest nation above others. He and his wife Delilah gained immense power in the service of Vecna, a mortal-born archlich who appeared in incorporeal form. Sylas is practical, cruel, and devoted to his wife, with his willingness to eradicate the de Rolo family causing him to lose his mind sometimes.
Sylas has tremendous physical strength similar to Grog's thanks to the Craven Edge greatsword. Imbued with dark arcane power, Craven Edge drains strength from the enemies it strikes while absorbing their blood into the blade to increase its power. It constantly seeks the taste of blood and talks to its wielder about victims they will chase together.
8 Delilah Briarwood
Delilah is a human wizard best known for her intelligence and ruthlessness. Aside from her understanding of diplomacy, Delilah is seen as strategically-minded and manipulative. The antagonist has mastery over magic, necromancy, and meditation, allowing her to travel to the Astral Sea, the only place where she can be alone with herself.
What makes Delilah stronger than her husband and Cassandra is her close relationship with Vecna, who gives her a few abilities and spells, such as Necromancy Savant, Grim Harvest, Undead Thralls, and Command Undead. Delilah can create an army with dead bodies by just having a glimpse, as she is also skilled at hand-to-hand combat despite her elegancy.
7 Vex'ahlia
Vex is a half-elf rogue who was killed by a necrotic trap in Purval Suul's tomb triggered by Percy. After she returned to life with the help of Raven Queen, Vex and her friends set off on a new journey to stop Chroma Conclave from wreaking havoc.
Vex uses Blazing Bowstring enchanted by Tiberius, which can make any arrow that is fired from it ignite in flames when activated. She also stole a flying broom from Gern Blaston, which flies once its command word has been spoken. As a member of an Elf family, Vex has innate abilities such as Darkvision and Fey Ancestry. She is capable of deft maneuvers and killing with sneak attacks as a ranger.
6 Scanlan
Probably the most loved and fun character among the members of Vox Machina, Scanlan Shorthalt comes into possession of the legendary sword Mythcarver. As a gnome, Scanlan will live longer than his friends if he survives the battle against Chroma Conclave.
Scanlan is capable of enhancing his abilities with a combination of magic and courage, with his expertise including deception and investigation similar to Vax'ildan. Using a lute as his primary weapon, Scanlan utilizes an array of abilities and skills, such as Bardic Inspiration, Gnome Cunning, and his War Caster feat. Besides, his spells run the gamut of defense and support.
5 Vax'ildan
Vax can be seen as a druid or paladin who has immense speed and reflexes to catch enemies off guard. He offered his life in service to Raven Queen to defeat Vecna, but he was then abandoned to his mortal form. Vax wields a variety of items that enhance his powers, such as Blinkblack Belt and Deathwalker's Ward.
On his way to kill Thordakk, Vax mastered evading and dealing high damage thanks to his innate abilities. He also has an assortment of weapons, each having a unique effect on enemies. Vax's proficiency with martial weapons and armor makes him a formidable opponent against Chroma Conclave.
4 Percival De Rolo
Often known as Percy, he is a gunslinger whose goal is to avenge his family's murder at Briarwoods. Percy also feels guilty for sparking Anna's imagination to create firearms. Being an acrobatic gunman, he has a mastery over all manners of weapons and armor. Although Percy is more skilled in the usage of ranged weapons, he is also capable of fighting with one-handed melee weapons.
Most of his power comes from his connection to the shadow demon Orthax, which allows Percy to cast a few spells. He manifests as a trail of black smoke to inflict fear upon his enemies, with his signature pepperbox pistol dealing additional psychic damage.
3 Pike
Pike Trickfoot is a gnome like Scanlan, who helps Vox Machina with her 'Plate of the Dawnmartyr' in their fight against the Chroma Conclave. She wears a plate armor in the silver and blue colors of her goddess. Being a cleric, Pike is faithful to his friends, and her gnome abilities protect innocent lives even against dragons.
Pike is highly skilled in healing and persuasion, as she also has a few cleric abilities, such as ritual casting, divine intervention, and channel divinity. However, the character has a unique ability called 'Blessing of the Everlight', which allows Pike to fly for a limited time.
2 Grog
Grog the Victorious has tremendous power to fight against a dragon in close combat as a barbarian. Having been exiled from the Herd of Storms by Kevdak for taking pity on Pike's grandfather Wilhand, Grog Strongjaw joined Vox Machina to find a deeper meaning for his life.
After taking his revenge on his uncle Kevdak, Grog became the wielder of Titanstone Knuckles, one of the Vestiges of the Divergence that grants immense power against Chroma Conclave. Grog's confidence in his skills demoralizes enemies, and his thrill derives from the chaotic nature of the battle.
Grog has also a variety of combat maneuvers as a natural athlete, renowned with his goliath fighting style.
1 Keyleth
The half-elf druid member of Vox Machina is far above what any person or fighter would normally be. After completing her Aramente, Keyleth became the headmaster of Ashari while adding thousands of years to her lifespan. Above all, she serves as the force of nature who is able to magically influence her surroundings to create a shield, weapons, platforms, portals, and more.
Ketyleth can control fire and weather, speak with all the beings of nature, create storms, and turn into various creatures for scouting, battle, and transportation. Her innate abilities also allow Keyleth to conjure sunlight and heal friends.
