The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was released on the Wii U and Switch in March 2017 making it one of the largest Zelda games made that saw the beloved title 12 times bigger than that of Twilight Princess. Four years on and players still love nothing more than diving into its rich environments, vast puzzle system, and quirky characters. While some Zelda fans might take pictures of the almost unleashed terrain or record themselves beating many of the bosses found wandering the lands, one player decided to try and take a selfie with every NPC they could find.

Reddit user FieldExplores set themselves a challenge and that was to try and find as many of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's NPC (non-player character) characters and take a good old-fashioned picture with them. As you can see from the images below, they did a pretty good job of it, too. If you have played Breath of the Wild, you'll know how diverse the NPCs are. From crossdressers and a happy tree-person to a woman who almost beats Link to death for stepping on her flowers, it's fair to say that post-calamity Hyrule is a breeding ground for the most diverse and strangest NPCs around.

A month ago, FieldExplores began their journey to see how many NPCs they could actually find and started taking selfies with more than 300 of them. Lately, they have found even more and again, thought nothing of standing next to the characters for a photo opportunity. It's an incredible idea that takes a lot of dedication. Below is a couple of the images from FieldExplores Reddit gallery but make sure to check them all out right here and see if you can name some of them. Maybe it'll give you an idea to see if you can find them all, too?
