Of all the games unveiled during Nintendo's Direct this past March, Cadence of Hyrule - Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring the Legend of Zelda (that's the full, extremely long official title of the game) was one of the more surprising announcements. When it was revealed, Nintendo simply stated that it was due out on Switch later this spring with no further date given. As of now though, we might have an idea as to when Cadence of Hyrule could be dropping and it's far sooner than you'd think.

When looking at the official Nintendo page for Cadence of Hyrule, the game's listing still states that it is set to release in the spring with no additional date or price being given. However, if you inspect the page's source code, you will find that the date of May 30, 2019, is listed in the release date section of the game's description.

What's intriguing about this date is that it's not the final date of the month, which likely indicates that it's not just a placeholder. Plus, May 30 is also a Thursday, which is typically the day in which new games come to Nintendo's eShop on Switch. All of the ancillary details surrounding this date seem valid, and considering the root source of the information is officially from Nintendo, it makes me believe that this could definitely be legitimate.

Either way, we'll likely find out very soon from Nintendo either way. With Cadence of Hyrule potentially launching on Thursday, it won't take long to hear from Nintendo for us to know for certain whether or not this date is real. Stay tuned over the next 48 hours or so.
