The Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker HD is just nine days away from its North American release, while Japanese gamers will get it a few days later, and today Nintendo released a TV commercial that is going to be aired in Japan to try and revive the Wii U in its home turf.
In addition to the 30 seconds long clip designed for TV boardcasting they also released a longer “Special Edition” TV commercial that gives us a longer glimpse on the shiny remade graphics.
Will the game be enough satisfy Japanese gamers until the next big hit (which is quite far away in the future)? We’ll have to monitor a few weeks of Media Create charts to know that, but my money is on “not really”. I’d be happy to be proven wrong, though, as the Japanese home console market really needs some healthy competition.
