Today, indie studio Painted Black Games announced a few tidbits of news regarding its upcoming adventure game The Long Reach.

Starting with some good news, The Long Reach Signature Edition is available now to pre-order for the PlayStation 4. This limited physical version will include a region-free copy of the game, the official soundtrack, a "Development Manual & Project Introduction" booklet, and an outer box signed by the developers at Painted Black Games. Those who pre-order will also receive a limited edition collector's coin with their purchase. All of this will cost $34.76 plus shipping and handling.

Now onto the bad news; the PlayStation Vita version of The Long Reach has been delayed due to difficulties porting the game. According to today's press release, the team will have "all hands on deck" to rectify the unfortunate situation. This will not affect the release schedule for the other platforms.

Revealed last June, The Long Reach is a psychological thriller that takes inspiration from games and movies like Lone Survivor, The Cave, Fargo, and The Matrix. The game will feature handmade pixel art, atmospheric music, and more than 12,000 words of dialog.

The Long Reach will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and the Nintendo Switch on March 14th, 2018 for $14.99.
