Today Kadokawa Games released a brand new batch of screenshots of The Child of Light, the new game by El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron Director Takeyasu Sawaki.

The screenshots Showcase a few characters, Lucifel (returning from El Shaddai), Michael and magazine Lost editor-in-chief Saruya-san.

We also get to see Lost’s offices, that serve as Hayato Ibuki‘s headquarters, and the Akihabara area, where one of the pillars he needs to find is located.

On top of that, we also get a look at the Astrals that can be found in the game, and bound to Hayato’s service, evolved and used in combat. They can be Demons, Angels or Fallen Angels.

If you want to learn more, you can check out our translation of the latest Famitsu article, which includes a deeper explanation of the elements seen here. You can also watch the original teaser trailer, and a second gameplay trailer.

Lost Child will release in Japan for PS4 and PS Vita on August 24th.
