Sabotage Studio and Devolver Digital's indie gem The Messenger released on Switch and PC last year, but it seems like the game could be soon coming to another rather large platform.

In a new listing on the official PEGI (Pan European Game Information) website, The Messenger has been listed for a release on PS4. The game is rated PEGI-7 and the release date for the title is listed as March 5, 2019, which clearly isn't correct.

Here's a screen grab of the listing in case it gets ripped off of PEGI's website:

Sabotage and Devolver potentially bringing The Messenger to PS4 shouldn't be surprising whatsoever. The Messenger was met with widespread critical acclaim when it released last year and it currently sits at an average score of 86 over on Metacritic. We loved The Messenger ourselves here at DualShockers as well and awarded the game a score of 9.5/10. Our reviewer, Michael Ruiz, also argued for it as our own Game of the Year for 2018, too. With The Messenger being so highly praised, it only made sense for it to come to other platforms down the line.

Not to mention, The Messenger will soon also be receiving a free expansion update in the coming months as well for those who already own the game. With this DLC bringing The Messenger back into the spotlight, Sabotage and Devolver might as well put it out on PS4 while they're at it.

Of course, The Messenger's arrival on PS4 isn't confirmed just yet, but these rating board leaks are about as surefire as they come. If and when the game is confirmed to be releasing on PS4, we'll let you know.
