The game originally launched on Steam back in September 2016, but today developer Puuba has announced a new launch of The Metronomicon: Slay the Dance Floor. The game is now available on PlayStation 4 and will soon be released on Xbox One. To celebrate the release, publisher Akupara Games has also revealed a brand new trailer.

In The Metronomicon: Slay the Dance Floor, you control eight dancing masters trained in the Rhythmic Combat Arts to fight in a war against a horde of beatless beasties. You will need to craft a party of four to lay down the law on the dance floor or dance their lives away in rhythm-centric, turn-based RPG combat.

Music in The Metronomicon: Slay the Dance Floor is an important element, and to ensure that it remains at the forefront of the game, Puuba has brought artists like Jimmy Urine of Mindless Self Indulgence, Shiny Toy Guns, YACHT, Perturbator, J-Punch, and DJ CUTMAN.

This version of the game also includes multiple game modes including the mainline quest, and Endless Mode, and cooperative play. As part of the game's launch day promotion, it will also include music from Chiptune Pack #1 and Indie Music Pack #1.

The Metronomicon: Slay the Dance Floor is now available on PC and PS4. The Xbox One version will be released on August 30. For more information on the game, you can visit its official website. Below is the official console launch trailer.
