The Mind Behind Katamari Leaves Namco Bandai
After creating a rather popular game a few years ago that grabbed many ball-rolling addicts, Namco Bandai’s Katamari Damacy creator, Keita Takahashi has finally had enough and has left the, as he has stated, “so-so company.”

There’s no exact word on why Takahashi is leavng, but after making a few comments expressing his disinterest in making Katamari, as well as how he sees no point in games, can only leave people to assume that he left because the industry just isn’t for him.

“I think for anyone in the world, you start to get bored of whatever you do, if you do one thing for too long, and that’s one of the main reasons.”

Being a gamer since the age of 6 (thanks to my parents), a desire to pursue a career in the gaming industry has been my passion ever since I laid my hands on Sonic the Hedgehog. Some of my favorite games include Shadow of the Colossus, Okami, Duke Nukem 3D, Final Fantasy 6, Killer7 and both the Devil May Cry and Resident Evil series.
