Black and White Sci-fi Adventure The Mind's Eclipse Release Date Announced

Mind's Eclipse Interactive has announced that its sci-fi narrative-driven adventure game The Mind's Eclipse now has a release date.

Mind’s Eclipse Interactive’s upcoming title The Mind’s Eclipse takes a critical look at the consequences of humanity’s fusion with technology through narrative-driven adventure gameplay. The team invites players to join them in this discussion when the game launches on January 25, 2018.

The Mind’s Eclipse follows celebrity scientist Jonathan Campbell as he must traverse the trials of a utopia fallen from grace. As he searches for his family, Jonathan is led by a mysterious companion named L. In this world, they must discover what led to this nation’s fall by uncovering lost journals and logs. Ultimately, Jonathan simply wants to find his loved ones, but so much more will reveal itself along the way.

In The Mind’s Eclipse, every environment has been crafted to feel like a work of art, but also to be completely interactive. Mind’s Eclipse Interactive’s founder Donald Campbell also wants the game’s story to ask players some serious questions.

The Mind’s Eclipse takes a serious look at the personal and human consequences of technology and immortality, and tries to examine a family that is caught in a web of uncertainty with regard to this new frontier of existence. In a universe where we could live forever, what does this mean for the human? For a family? For a father? For a daughter?”

The Mind’s Eclipse will launch for PC, Mac, and Linux on January 25, 2018. The game will cost $9.99 upon release. For more information on the game, you can visit its Facebook page or its Steam page.
