Microsoft just revealed the name and form factor of the new Xbox, that will be called Xbox One, and will look...pretty much like the PS4, a black box. Is anyone surprised?

The new system will come with a Kinect (or better, the new Kinect,  coming with a 1080p camera and sporting a response time of 13 billionths of a second, processing 2GB of data a second. The console will not work at all without it) and will have 8 GB of RAM, a native 64-bit architecture and a Blu-Ray drive.

No matter if you are surprised or you aren't, you can check out the looks of the new console (and of the controller and the new Kinect) in the gallery and in the official trailer at the bottom of this post.

The console will be released later this year and will not require an always online Internet connection. Unfortunately, it's also confirmed that it won't have any backwards compatibility whatsoever.
